Textilene® or Phifertex®, are manufacturers of vinyl coated polyester. Most of the new sling style furniture you see in the stores use this type of material. It is very strong and durable. Vinyl Coated Polyester can easily be made into cushions. This type of fabric is also very easy to maintain. We suggest using a mild soap or detergent and water. We like to use a product called Simple Green which is a degreaser and is biodegradable. It’s highly concentrated and really cleans this type of fabric nicely. Make sure you rinse thoroughly and allow your cushions to air dry. Do not use a bleach based product on this material.

Combination of acrylic and PVC yarn to give it a softer feel. Ideal for cushions, umbrellas and glider kits.

Olefin fabrics are woven with 100% solution-dyed olefin yarn. Olefin is soft & comfortable, and resists stains, mildew and fading. Olefin fabrics are exclusively designed for outdoor use. This type of fabric may be cleaned with a mild detergent and warm water. Make sure you rinse thoroughly and allow the fabric to air dry.

The fabric is made of 100% polyester yarns and can be used both indoors and out. They are easily cleaned a mild detergent with water and allowed to air dry. DO NOT subject the fabric to water temperature in excess of 100°F Do not use bleach based or harsh cleaning products on this type of fabric. Printed Spun Polyester is not warranted against fading.
